The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Warriors Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a wide array of characters, and a exciting storyline including divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences increasing in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the main group to begin their independent quest, apart from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team features Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the agile character (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Considering a large ensemble, it was obvious from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of this story serve as an Overture, intertwining the personal journeys before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Explorers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where non-violent answers are rare.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer the cleric might seem out of place, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

First, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a violent first encounter with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—used the foes for his own means, invading the secret base, attacking the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to sell off.

The traitor then settled his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a individual motive to exit the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires vengeance.
  • The adventurer is familiar with Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to execute the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their position as important members in the powerful family could enable the team reach areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, Teor vowed a life debt to The savior for his deliverance and will now go with him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are sought by the authorities that govern Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The cleric turned against the powerful family and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.

This means them few options but to travel to Timmony in quest for the traitor.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s follow-up content, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around the following episode, leaving the other eight players to round up the Explorers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can expect discovering which adventurers will be where in the season’s concluding setup installment, released on the upcoming Thursday.
